We are lifelong New Yorkers. We have seen New York face many challenges including the 9/11 attacks, Superstorm Sandy, various financial crises, and the COVID 19 pandemic. During these difficult times we have been inspired by people who decide to do something to help their neighbors. This is how many of our most effective community organizations get started. Yet these small, local-based nonprofits struggle with funding. We decided that one way we could help is by providing them with direct financial aid in the form of grant money. These grants can not only help fund their operations and programs but hopefully also shine a light on their efforts in order to raise their profile and inspire others to get involved.
